New study on economy and insights
According to an article published in The Oakland Press, "a new study released by the AFL-CIO just before Labor Day indicates that people under the age of 35 are facing even more difficulties. More than one in three young workers say they are currently living at home with their parents, while 31 percent of young workers report being uninsured, up from 24 percent without health insurance coverage 10 years ago, according to the poll done for the AFL by Peter D. Hart."
It is therefore in the best interests of the young workers to consistently strive in their existing jobs and deliver good work to their employees and try to save for contingencies through proper insurance coverage and savings. For those young workers who aren’t in a job, they should strive to get employed and lap up the opportunities available even if the salary is moderate and not upto expectations.
